Ahead of the pivotal Elections of this year, the budget session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly will be started from 5th of February, 2024. As per policy, the vote-on-account or the interim budget will be presented by the Finance Minister of Odisha during the Assembly Session which will consists of seven working days respectively.
Also, the vote-on-account shall be introduced for the first four months of the Financial Year 2024-25. The first day of the upcoming Assembly will start with the Governor’s Address on 5th of February 2024.
Earlier, it has been observed that despite the adequate working days, there have been repeated disruptions in the Odisha Assembly. Under such circumstances, it remains to be seen whether the upcoming Odisha Assembly session functions smoothly or not.
