Perceiving a 500-year-old dream, the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram Temple in the City of Ayodhya finally culminated on Monday, the 22nd January 2024. The Consecration Ceremony was completed amid the blowing of Conch shells and a showering of flower petals on the temple from the above with the help of a helicopter.
Carrying a silver ‘Chhatra’ placed on a red cloth amidst the playing of ‘Mangal Dhvani’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi climbed up the stairs of the Newly Constructed Ram Temple and performed a ritual named ‘Sankalp’ and within the 84 seconds ‘Abhijit Muhurat’ as part of the Pran Pratishtha Ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla.
Prime Minister then went into the ‘Garbh Griha’ of the temple, amid the chanting of mantras to complete the remaining rituals. Army helicopters showered flower petals on the temple premises when the consecration program took place on the Auspicious day.
This grand event saw the presence of around 7,000 VIPs from across the Nation which includes Actors, Sportspersons, Industrialists, Politicians, etc. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath were also present in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
