In a glittering ceremony at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi, Flipkart, India’s leading e-commerce platform, recognized and honored its top sellers at the FlipStars 2023 Awards. The event, graced by Shri. Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Hon’ble Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, showcased the dedication and excellence of over 14 lakh sellers who contributed to a remarkable 30% growth in the seller base during the festive season.
Renowned celebrities, including Mrs. Lara Dutta and Mr. Amit Trivedi, joined the celebration hosted by Mr. Aparshakti Khurana. The awards spanned diverse categories such as Lifestyle, Books & General Merchandise, Home, Electronics, and Furniture, acknowledging outstanding performance across various parameters, including sales volume, geographical reach, and social impact. Before The Big Billion Days event in 2023, Flipkart introduced seller-focused policies and nationwide conclaves, setting new industry standards. The launch of phase 3 of ‘Flipkart EDGE’ aimed to empower sellers through enhanced clarity, control, and transparency.
