Fostering greater collaboration between India and Japan, NSDC International (NSDCI), and Nippon Travel Agency Co., Ltd., have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in the hiring of skilled professionals from different sectors in India.
The partnership aims to create awareness in the Japanese market about hiring Indian professionals, addressing the growing demand for diverse talent in Japan. The partnership extends beyond national boundaries and focuses on fostering international mobility as a central pillar.
The agreement was signed between NSDCI’s Director & Chief Operating Officer, Ajay Kumar Raina, and Nippon Travel Agency’s Executive Officer, Keigo Yoshida. The partnership aims to bridge the talent gap and enhance workforce mobility. NSDCI and Nippon Travel will organize joint seminars and workshops in both countries, focusing on skill development, workforce mobility, and other relevant areas. Both India and Japan share a shared vision of a globally competent workforce essential for tackling challenges and capitalizing on opportunities in the 21st century. Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC and MD of NSDC International, said the partnership is a significant milestone towards fostering closer ties between India and Japan.
