MoU was signed between Samsung R&D Institute-Noida & IIT Kanpur

Samsung R&D Institute, Noida has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) for five years. The MoU aims to focus on key growth areas, including joint research projects by IIT Kanpur students, faculty, and Samsung engineers,  helping students become industry-ready.

 The research projects will cover areas such as health, visual, framework, and B2B security, as well as cutting-edge technology areas like Generative AI and Cloud. The MoU also seeks to provide opportunities for upskilling Samsung engineers in key technology areas such as AI, Cloud, and other emerging technologies.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Kyungyun Roo, Managing Director, SRI-Noida, Prof. Tarun Gupta, Dean, Research and Development, IITK, and other senior delegates from Samsung. The collaboration reflects Samsung’s dedication to merging academic excellence with industrial innovation, making students industry-ready. SRI-Noida, Managing Director, Mr. Kyungyun Roo is excited to begin a collaborative journey with IIT Kanpur, aiming to merge academic excellence with industrial innovation. The dynamic exchange of ideas, knowledge, and talent will contribute to the success of groundbreaking projects and Samsung’s growth.
