Tata Motors has introduced Automatic Motor Transmission (AMT) in its CNG cars, marking a first in the industry. The company has opened bookings for the Tiago and Tigor iCNG AMT, which incorporate twin-cylinder CNG technology to free up boot space.
This cars offers superior economy, convenience, safety assurance, and top-of-the-line comfort and convenience features. Customers can book the cars at their nearest authorized dealership or online for INR 21,000, starting today. This innovative move is a significant step towards enhancing the CNG segment in India.
India’s Tiago iCNG AMT and Tigor iCNG AMT are both automatic cars with petrol-like performance and comfort. Both offer best-in-class performance, smooth gear shifting, high restart gradability, and easy creep behavior in traffic and parking. Both cars come with best-in-class safety features, such as a micro switch for refueling and advanced materials for iCNG kit. The Tiago iCNG AMT will come in 3 variants – XTA CNG, XZA+ CNG & XZA NRG while the Tigor iCNG AMT will be available in 2 variants – XZA CNG & XZA+ CNG.
