INDIAWOOD 2024 is set to make waves in the woodworking and furniture production sector as it hosts its 13th edition from February 22-26, 2024, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. With over 950 companies representing more than 50 countries, this edition is poised to become a pivotal moment in the industry’s financial landscape.
Valued at $32 billion, the Indian furniture market has exhibited a compound annual growth rate of 20%-25%, boasting a 248% growth in furniture exports from INR 1952 crore (about USD 26 million) in FY 2013-2014 to INR 6790 crore (USD 820 million) in FY 2022-2023. INDIAWOOD 2024 offers a strategic platform for industry leaders, technology suppliers, and buyers to capitalize on this booming market.
The event aligns seamlessly with recent government initiatives such as the National Transit Pass System and the PRAMAN certification scheme, aimed at bolstering the ease of doing business and propelling India’s wood-based product exports.
