India’s Ride-hailing Mobility Platform Ola Electric has launched a new variant of its Electric Scooter S1 X, featuring a 4kWh battery pack with a Price tag of Rs. 1.10 Lacs (Ex-Showroom), this offering aims to cater to consumers seeking an extended range of capability. Deliveries are scheduled and expected to be commence in the month of April 2024 along with other variants of this model that comes with 2kWh and 3kWh Batteries respectively.
With the 4 kWh battery pack variant, the covering range is upto 190 Kms (ARAI certified), and 143 Kms can be delivered from the 3 kWh battery variant. 4kWh variant coming with a 750 Watt portable Charger, that can charge the scooter from 0 to 100 percent in about 6.5 Hours. This Scooter continues to feature a 6 kW Motor, that reaches a speed of 0 to 60 km per hour in about 5.5 seconds.
The 2024 Ola S1X Electric Scooter 4 kWh variant has been made available in Red Velocity, Midnight, Vogue, Stellar, Funk, Porcelain white and Liquid Silver colour schemes and is underpinned by the Gen 2 platform. Ola India says the S1X series is designed and developed to cater to the requirements of different daily commutes.
Aside from this, the company also introduced an extended battery warranty scheme of 8 years or up to 80,000 km across all its products, while also announcing the expansion of its service and charging network across the country. Ola company is also offering a 3 kW Fast Charger for its scooters to sale now at a price point of Rs. 29,999.
