Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Unified Payment Interface or UPI service in the two countries on Monday. Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Mauritius Prime Minister Pravinda Jugnauth were present on the occasion. Also present were the central bank governors of the three countries.
