Coca-Cola’s quarter four sparkles with 7 per centsurge in revenues

Coca-Cola, the global beverage juggernaut, has unveiled its fiscal performance for the fourth quarter and full year of 2023, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing pursuit of financial stability and market leadership.

Despite prevailing economic headwinds, Coca-Cola reported a commendable 2% increase in global unit case volume for both the quarter and the full year. This growth trajectory was further underscored by a robust 7% surge in net revenues for the fourth quarter, accompanied by an impressive 12% growth in organic revenues (Non-GAAP). Key to Coca-Cola’s success in the emerging markets was the sustained growth witnessed in regions like India and Brazil, contributing to the overall 2% increase in unit case volume for the full year. The quarter also saw a notable 4% growth in developing and emerging markets, driven by strong performances in Brazil and India.

In a strategic move to optimize its operational efficiency and enhance focus on core competencies, Coca-Cola completed the refranchising of a portion of its company-owned bottling operations in India.
