Highlighting the escalating demand for proficient media practitioners and the scarcity of advanced educational avenues within Arunachal Pradesh, the C3 delegation underscored the significance of a Master’s program in Mass Communication. They emphasized its pivotal role in equipping students with the requisite competencies to navigate the intricacies of contemporary media dynamics and enhance the state’s intellectual reservoirL. Echoing similar sentiments, representatives from the AAPPA accentuated the pressing need for a Master’s program in Psychology. They shed light on the burgeoning mental health challenges prevalent in the state and the dearth of postgraduate psychology programs. Propelling the argument forward, they asserted that such an initiative would play a pivotal role in alleviating the acute shortage of qualified mental health professionals crucial for bolstering the state’s support infrastructure.

The delegation’s endeavors received a positive reception from the university administration. Both the Registrar and the Vice Chancellor lauded the initiative, assuring the delegation that their proposals would be accorded precedence during the forthcoming academic and executive council deliberations.
