BJP MP Rajya Sabha Nabam Rebia asserts ‘only BJP can bring development & prosperity

As the Assembly elections draw near, the fervor of anticipation envelops the entire state of Arunachal. In a significant turn of events, supporters of NPP MLA Gokar Basar, who recently switched allegiance to BJP in a bid to secure the party ticket from the Basar-Tirbin Assembly constituency, received a hearty welcome from his supporters in Leparada district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The transition of NPP workers chanting slogans in favor of BJP heralds a newfound enthusiasm for the ruling party, as the opposition in Arunachal Pradesh appears to diminish.

Out of the 60 MLA Assembly seats, only 2 remain with the Congress party. Former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, who also serves as the President of Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee, holds one, while Lombo Tayeng, MLA from Mebo, secures the other.
