Nissan Formula E Team partners with Coral Eyewear

Nissan Formula E Team has partnered with sunglasses and apparel company Coral Eyewear on a multi-year deal. Coral Eyewear will supply its distinctive products, crafted using recycled plastic and plant-based materials, to all Nissan Formula E Team members throughout the 2023/24 campaign and beyond. The two partners share a mission to promote green fashion using environmentally friendly materials such as recycled polyester and bamboo.

The marque will also release special edition Nissan Formula E Team sunglasses, decorated with team colors and logos, ahead of the inaugural Tokyo E-Prix at the end of March.  Co-founder George Bailey expressed pride in the partnership and the opportunity to showcase their sunglasses during Season 10 of the Tokyo E-Prix in 2024.

Both brands share a commitment to sustainability while never compromising on quality. This collaboration will allow the Japanese squad and its drivers Oliver Rowland and Sacha Fenestraz to harness the exposure generated by the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship to promote sustainable fashion globally. Coral Eyewear, founded in 2019, aims to provide stylish, luxury eyewear using recycled and plant-based production methods. They are the first British brand to use ECONYL® regenerated nylon in their eyewear, which prevents 65,100 tons of CO2eq emissions for every 10,000 tons of raw material spent.
