Flipkart, India’s e-commerce giant, has launched its UPI handle to enhance its digital payment offerings for its 500+ million customers. The innovative and secure solution, with the tagline ‘India’s Most Rewarding UPI’, will provide unparalleled convenience and zero-cost solutions for users across India. Powered by Axis Bank, Flipkart UPI will initially be available for Android users, allowing them to register for UPI with @fkaxis handle and perform fund transfers and checkout payments using the Flipkart app.
UPI is emerging as the preferred payment option, democratizing access to seamless payment options. The UPI feature enables smooth onboarding, convenient online and offline merchant transactions, and one-click functionalities for recharges and bill payments. The integrated checkout funnel and instant refunds make the transaction process a hassle-free and satisfying experience.
Axis Bank President & Head – Cards & Payments, Sanjeev Moghe, said that the partnership with Flipkart has come a long way from launching one of India’s most successful co-branded credit cards to now launching the Flipkart UPI service. The cloud-hosted solution offers one of the most stable and scalable UPI platforms for customers.
