The GJRP project was launched on Skill India Digital Hub  platform

NSDC International (NSDCI) and Deakin University have launched a groundbreaking collaboration to introduce the Global Job Readiness Program (GJRP) on the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) platform. This initiative, aimed at enhancing the employability of Indian youth, marks a significant milestone in the country’s skill development landscape.

The GJRP, a brainchild of NSDCI in partnership with the renowned Australian institution Deakin University, is designed to equip Indian students with the necessary skills to excel in the global job market. Through the SIDH platform, learners gain access to a comprehensive range of industry-relevant courses, offering flexibility and convenience in skill acquisition.

Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, CEO of NSDC and MD of NSDCI, emphasized the program’s role in addressing the changing dynamics of the job market, where adaptability and versatility are paramount. The GJRP covers essential soft skills such as communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and digital literacy, ensuring participants are well-prepared for the demands of modern workplaces. Ms. Ravneet Pawha, Vice President (Global Alliances) and CEO (South Asia) of Deakin University, hailed the collaboration as a strategic initiative to empower India’s ambitious young professionals and enhance the country’s global competitiveness.
