The ceremony, graced by the presence of DC Tawang Kanki Darang, SP DW Thongon, Addl. DC Lungla LW Bapu, CO Jemeithang Deewan Mara, and other dignitaries, celebrated the provision of the mini tender through MP LAD and CSR funds. Minister Rijiju actively engaged with beneficiaries of various centrally sponsored schemes. He spotlighted the government’s revamped approach, ensuring welfare schemes penetrate the grassroots level. The strategy includes measures such as Jan-dhan account integration, Aadhar and mobile number linkage for authentication, facilitating direct beneficiary transfers to bank accounts, thereby enhancing convenience and transparency.

In a public interaction session, Minister Rijiju delved into welfare schemes targeting women, children, and senior citizens, emphasizing initiatives like free ration distribution, water resource conservation, and household drinking water facilities. Following this, he paid a visit to the Gorzam Stupa and partook in the Gorzam Kora festival. The Union Minister later bid adieu to Jemeithang as he departed for Delhi.
