NCP rolls out ticket distribution strategy, eight candidates named for assembly polls

As the political climate heats up in Arunachal Pradesh, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) under the leadership of Ajit Pawar has commenced its election preparations by announcing candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.

In a significant move, the NCP unveiled the names of eight candidates for the 2024 election during a mass joining program presided over by Ajit Pawar. The declared candidates include Likha Saaya for 16th Yachuli, Tapang Taloh for 35th Pangin, Loma Gollo for 12th Pakke Kessang, Nyasan Jongsam for 53rd Changlang North, Ngolin Boi for 54th Namsang, Aju Chije for 33rd Mechuka, Mongol Yamso for 40th Maniyang-Geku, and Adv. Salman Mongrey for 52nd Changlang South.

Emphasizing their commitment to contesting all 60 seats in the state, the NCP’s decision was solidified during a key meeting where Ajit Pawar, NCP national president, and Praful Patel, national working president, along with other party leaders, discussed the political landscape and organizational strength in Arunachal Pradesh.
