Former Chief Engineer switches gears, BJP ticket to transform Kamle district

Er Rotom Tebin, former Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD), resigned from his esteemed post to embrace a new role in politics. Tebin’s decision was met with enthusiasm as he secured the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket to contest the upcoming assembly elections from the 25th Raga constituency in Kamle district. Amidst a warm reception at his residence in Itanagar, Er Tebin expressed his gratitude for being chosen as the BJP’s candidate among six other hopefuls vying for the ticket from the Raga constituency.

Pledging to uplift Kamle district into a beacon of development, Er Tebin emphasized the pressing need for infrastructural rejuvenation. He highlighted the deteriorating state of essential facilities such as the district hospital and the Raga district headquarters, underscoring the imperative for change and progress. Addressing the media, Er Tebin articulated his vision for the district’s transformation, advocating for unity and collective action. He urged fellow BJP candidates to honor their commitment and rally behind the chosen candidate for the Raga constituency.

Reflecting on the challenges faced by Kamle district, Er Tebin highlighted the importance of rectifying past mistakes, particularly in infrastructure projects marred by corruption. Notably, he emphasized the urgency of reviving the defunct NEC Dollungmukh-Tamen road project to enhance connectivity and spur development across the vast expanse of the district.
