In a bid to spotlight the pivotal role of nutrition in bolstering immunity and family wellness, the Almond Board of California orchestrated a high-profile panel discussion titled ‘Snack Smart for a Healthier Family and Stronger Immunity’ at The Park Hotel, Kolkata. The event, graced by eminent figures including Bollywood luminary Soha Ali Khan, Celebrity Pilates Master Instructor Yasmin Karachiwala, and Ritika Samaddar, Regional Head of Dietetics at Max Healthcare – New Delhi, delved into the significance of adopting nutritious snacking habits, with a particular emphasis on the transformative potential of almonds.

Panelists unanimously underscored the imperative of incorporating nutrient-rich options like almonds into daily diets, countering the deleterious effects of hasty and unhealthy snacks often consumed amidst frenetic lifestyles. Almonds, renowned for their rich content of essential nutrients including vitamin E, magnesium, protein, riboflavin, zinc, vitamin B2, phosphorus, copper, and zinc, emerged as the focal point of discussion.

Celebrity Pilates Master Instructor Yasmin Karachiwala extolled the virtues of almonds, proclaiming them as a cornerstone of holistic well-being. Soha Ali Khan, drawing from personal experience, elaborated on the versatility and nutritional value of almonds in family meals and snacks.
