Byatikram Education Conclave bridges hearts and minds across India and Bangladesh

Byatikram MASDO, a revered socio-cultural organization from Assam, is set to host the transformative “Byatikram Education Conclave” at the Dhaka Club in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on June 10th, 2024. Supported by the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh in Guwahati, JIS University, Friends of Bangladesh, and Tarun IAS, this event is poised to make a significant social impact by fostering educational and cultural exchanges between India and Bangladesh. The conclave will unite universities and educational institutions from both regions, aiming to build bridges of understanding and cooperation. This initiative seeks to create lasting connections that go beyond academic collaboration, touching the lives of students, educators, and communities.

Byatikram MASDO has a storied history of promoting cultural and educational ties. Their efforts include celebrating the legacy of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika in Bangladesh, translating key works of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman into Assamese, and hosting the “Byatikram Medical Tourism Conclave,” which brought together over 50 Indian doctors, impacting the medical landscape of both nations.

Dr. Saumen Bharatiya, President of Byatikram MASDO, emphasized the human element of these exchanges: “The more we connect socially and culturally, the stronger our bonds become.” Mr. Ruhul Amin, Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Guwahati, praised Byatikram’s dedication, expressing optimism about the conclave’s potential to foster deep, meaningful relationships.
