Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Ltd has embarked on a mission to deepen life insurance awareness and financial inclusion in Sikkim. Recently appointed as the lead insurer for the state by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), the company is focusing on touching lives across Sikkim’s diverse communities. The initiative targets Sikkim’s youth through engaging on-ground and digital outreach. Workshops, awareness camps, and educational activities like interactive sessions and essay competitions, organized in partnership with local NGOs, are designed to instill financial literacy and responsibility.
Leading this compassionate campaign are MD & CEO Alok Rungta, along with Manoj Singh, India Project Head for Sikkim, Geetanjali Chugh Kothari, and Kavita Nawbag, Branch Head of Gangtok. Their personal involvement highlights the company’s commitment to making a difference.
Mr. Pradhan, Nodal Officer for Sikkim, commended the initiative, emphasizing its potential to foster a secure financial future for the state’s residents. The program also aims to meet IRDAI’s rural and social sector targets through the promotion of the Bima Vistaar product and the establishment of Bima Vahak distribution channels.
