Samsung India proudly announced the winners of its flagship initiative, ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2024,’ aimed at fostering innovation among young minds across the country. Team Eco Tech Innovator from Golaghat, Assam, clinched the Community Champion award in the School Track for their groundbreaking idea ensuring equitable access to potable water, earning a seed grant of INR 25 lakh. Meanwhile, Team METAL from Udupi, Karnataka, emerged as the Environment Champion in the Youth Track for their innovative technology designed to remove arsenic from groundwater, receiving a grant of INR 50 lakh for incubation at IIT-Delhi.
The competition further recognized two teams from both tracks with Goodwill Awards of INR 1 lakh each, while the Social Media Champion Award was bestowed upon two teams for their impactful online engagement, each receiving INR 50,000.
All ten finalist teams were rewarded with INR 1 lakh and certificates for their exemplary proposals addressing community and environmental challenges. This year’s competition underscores Samsung’s commitment to empowering youth through technology, enabling them to tackle pressing societal issues and drive positive change in their communities.
