Indus Towers distributes 1550 relief kits to families impacted by flooding in Bihar

Indus Towers, one of India’s leading telecom infrastructure providers, has furthered its commitment to disaster relief by distributing 1550 relief kits to families impacted by flooding in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district as a part of its flagship CSR program, Pragati. The distribution took place today at the Harivansh Middle School in Bishnupur, Sitamarhi, in the presence of Mr Binod Prasad Singh – Mukhiya, Panchayat – Barheta, Block- Runnisaidpur, District- Sitamarhi.

Applauding the initiative, Mr. Binod Prasad Singh, Mukhiya, Panchayat, Barheta, said, “At a time of such natural calamity, it is crucial that we all unite to support the affected community.”

A dedicated team of 22 volunteers from Indus Towers facilitated the distribution process. Tejinder Kalra, Chief Operating Officer, Indus Towers said, “We are committed to expand our efforts to support the affected community in Bihar.” Ritesh Batsa, Circle CEO, Bihar and Jharkhand Circle, Indus Towers, said, “In these challenging times, our priority is to ensure that the affected community in Bishnupur remains connected.”
