Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Gabriel D Wangsu has emphasized the need for innovation and a problem-solving mindset to accelerate development in the state. Chairing a comprehensive review meeting in Lower Subansiri district, Wangsu urged officials from various departments to collaborate more effectively to ensure government schemes are successfully implemented.
The minister, who also serves as the guardian minister for Lower Subansiri, held the meeting at Ziro, the district headquarters, to assess the progress of ongoing state and central government programs. Deputy Commissioner Vivek H P presented a detailed report on the implementation of various initiatives under the themes of Sashakt Arunachal: Sundar, Samridh, Shikshit, Swasth, Surakshit, and Swachch Arunachal.
During the meeting, Wangsu stressed the importance of rigorous monitoring to ensure that development projects reach the grassroots level and genuinely benefit local communities. He urged different departments to work in a coordinated manner, stating that unity and efficiency are key to achieving meaningful progress.
As part of his visit, the minister also inspected key agricultural and livestock facilities, including the district dairy farm and piggery breeding farm at Siro. He assessed the current operations and infrastructure, interacting with officials to understand the challenges faced by farmers and livestock breeders.
Wangsu assured that follow-up meetings would be conducted regularly to track progress and address any challenges that arise. “Development is an ongoing process, and only through innovation, dedication, and teamwork can we ensure a brighter future for Arunachal Pradesh,” he said.
