Ahead of the crucial Board Exams of the current Year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important announcement sharing information regarding the use of online portal for availing exemptions and facilities by students, particularly Children with Special Needs (CSN). The CBSE has directed CSN Students that desire to avail the existing exemptions to make necessary requests through their respective Schools.
Earlier, the CBSE had asked all schools to update the status of CSN students through the Pariksha Sangam portal. According to Central Board of Secondary Education, CSN students approach the Board just before the commencement of the Examination with request to provide the facilities exemptions as per Board’s rule during the conduct of the Examinations.
The CBSE has further said, If CSN Students wish to avail applicable facilities, the school will fill the details and upload documents on the portal from 19th January to 24th January, 2024. No request for exemption will be entertained after 24th of January and in offline mode too. The CBSE has instructed CSN students to make desire and avail the existing exemptions to make necessary requests through their respective schools.
