JSW MG Motor India has recorded a robust sales performance, achieving 7,045 units sold in October 2024, reflecting a year-over-year growth of 31% compared to the same month last year. This impressive increase is fueled by the rising demand for electric vehicles, as New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) now constitute over 70% of total sales, the highest share in the industry.
Notably, the MG Windsor, the company’s debut intelligent Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV), electrified the market with 3,116 units sold within its first month, making it the best-selling passenger electric car for October 2024. The positive sales trend is further corroborated by a 34% year-over-year growth reported on the VAHAN portal, excluding Telangana.
In Bhubaneswar, the surge in sales aligns with a growing consumer inclination toward sustainable transport solutions. Local dealerships report increased foot traffic and inquiries about electric models, driven by heightened awareness of environmental issues and the benefits of NEVs. As JSW MG Motor India commits to enhancing its electric vehicle portfolio, it positions itself as a key player in the ongoing transition to clean mobility in the region and beyond.
