Mahindra Lifespace announces acquisition of 13.46-acre land parcel near Pune

On October 11, Mumbai-headquartered and publicly listed real estate developer Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd announced the acquisition of a 13.46-acre land parcel in the Nande-Mahalunge region near Pune. The company estimates a development potential of ₹3,500 crore from this land. As per their statement, the site offers easy connectivity to Hinjewadi and is surrounded by established social infrastructure, including reputed educational institutions.

Additionally, the location lies at an equal distance from both Baner-Balewadi and Hinjewadi—two of Pune’s major IT and BFSI hubs—making it a strategic investment, the company added.

Vimalendra Singh, Chief Business Officer – Residential, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd, stated that Mahalunge-Nande-Maan are emerging as high-potential micro-markets in Pune, having experienced robust demand in recent years. He emphasized the growing appetite for high-quality, modern homes in the area. The land is strategically positioned in the well-planned Mahalunge region, with excellent access via the proposed PMRDA Town Planning Scheme and the upcoming Inner Ring Road, adjacent to Hinjewadi. Singh said the acquisition aligns with Mahindra Lifespaces’ broader strategy to expand across Pune’s key growth corridors.

A day earlier, on October 10, the company was chosen as the preferred partner for redeveloping four housing societies in Malad West, Mumbai. This ₹800 crore project spans 1.65 acres and is located 2.6 km from the Western Express Highway, under 1 km from the Malad West Metro Station, and 1.5 km from Malad Railway Station, ensuring strong connectivity.
