INDIAWOOD has announced the 26th edition of its flagship biennial exhibition, scheduled to be held from February 26 to March 2, 2026, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru. Organised by NürnbergMesse India and supported by EUMABOIS, the upcoming edition is positioned to be the largest in the platform’s history.

INDIAWOOD 2026 will host over 1,000 brands from more than 50 countries, attract upwards of 90,000 industry professionals, and span 85,000 square metres of exhibition space, reflecting a 15 per cent expansion over the previous edition. The scale of growth underscores rising global confidence in India’s woodworking, furniture and mattress manufacturing capabilities and aligns with the country’s Viksit Bharat vision focused on advanced manufacturing, exports and global integration.

Commenting on the announcement, Sonia Prashar, Managing Director, NürnbergMesse India, said the event reflects the industry’s maturity and readiness to compete globally, with strong emphasis on technology, sustainability and skill development.

The progressing India–EU Free Trade Agreement, described by policymakers as the “mother of all deals”, is expected to further enhance sectoral momentum by improving market access, reducing tariffs, boosting exports of engineered wood products, and facilitating inflows of advanced machinery.

INDIAWOOD 2026 will showcase automation-led manufacturing, Industry 4.0 solutions, sustainable materials, and compact production systems. The exhibition will be strengthened by Wood+ in Architecture & Design and the co-located India Mattresstech & Upholstery Supplies Expo, reinforcing an integrated, future-ready industry ecosystem.
