Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers Temporarily Suspend Protest Following Govt Appeal

The All-Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers Group (ANATG)-2015 Batch has temporarily halted its indefinite hunger strike, which was initiated to advocate for the long-overdue service regularization of 1,166 members. This decision comes after the government communicated that the protestors’ demands are “under active consideration.” The ANATG has been protesting for ten days, and while the hunger strike, which started on Wednesday, is paused, the group’s agitation remains ongoing, as confirmed by ANATG officials, who urge their members to return to duty for the benefit of students.
