Two Armymen Die in Road Accident in Arunachal

According to a defense spokesman, two Indian Army soldiers perished when their vehicle fell into a gorge close to Taksing in the Upper Subansiri region of Arunachal Pradesh. The vehicle was traveling from Gelemo to Taksing for active duties under Operation Snow Leopard when the accident occurred on March 7 in Reddi hamlet near the India-China border, according to a delayed report from the army. According to the official, the deceased were Naik Pradeep Kumar Sharma of the 18 Sikh Regiment from Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh and Naib Subedar Kulwant Singh of the 908 Field Regiment under the 56 Artillery Brigade.
