Transnational Terror Plot Foiled: NIA Arrests Seven Foreign Nationals in Coordinated Multi-Airport Raid

Following their arrest, the Patiala House Court in Delhi has remanded the seven individuals to NIA custody until March 27, 2026, to allow for a comprehensive interrogation and data extraction from seized electronic devices. Forensic analysis of mobile phones and social media accounts is currently being conducted by CERT-In to unearth the broader conspiracy, identify remaining accomplices still at large, and trace the international funding channels supporting these activities. The agency informed the court that the suspects have already made key disclosures regarding their illegal movements and their role in facilitating the supply of “terrorist hardware.” As the investigation broadens, the case has sent ripples through the diplomatic and security establishments, highlighting a new frontier of unconventional warfare where foreign technical experts are recruited to bolster insurgent capabilities within the Indian subcontinent.
