Future Skills Lab Initiative Equips Arunachal Teachers With Technology-Driven Teaching Methods

The valedictory session of the three-day K–10 Future Skills Lab Teacher Training Programme was held on Wednesday at Government Secondary School, Jemeithang in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
The three-day training equipped teachers with practical skills in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Coding, Astronomy, and activity-based learning, enabling them to bring innovative and technology-driven teaching methods into classrooms.
Addressing the participants, Tawang Deputy Commissioner Namgyal Angmo encouraged teachers to make optimum use of the Future Skills Lab infrastructure to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and scientific temper among students.
Following the programme, the Deputy Commissioner inspected ongoing Education Department infrastructure projects in the Jemeithang area, including the construction of the academic block and teachers’ quarters at Government Upper Primary School, Gispu, and stressed the importance of timely completion with quality standards to strengthen educational facilities in the region.
The DC visited classrooms and interacted with the students at Government Upper Primary School Gispu.
