JK Cement announces ₹500 crore grinding unit in Buxar

JK Cement has made a strategic move to capture the growing demand in Eastern India by laying the foundation for a ₹500 crore Grey Cement Grinding Unit in Buxar, Bihar. With a capacity of 3.00 MTPA, the facility is set to bolster the company’s total production to over 30 MTPA by next year, aligning with its aggressive expansion strategy.

The announcement comes at a time when Bihar’s infrastructure sector is witnessing significant growth. Dr. RaghavpatSinghania, Managing Director, stated, “This project is a landmark step in our efforts to serve Bihar’s expanding market. It will not only strengthen our presence but also contribute to the state’s economic and infrastructural development.”

In Gaya, a critical hub in Bihar’s construction ecosystem, the demand for premium cement is being fueled by urbanization and a rise in public infrastructure projects. JK Cement’s entry is expected to stabilize supply and provide competitive pricing, making it a preferred choice for local developers and contractors.
