The Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, expressed deep sorrow and condolences to the families affected by a tragic bus accident in Kohima district, which resulted in the deaths of five members of the Chümoukedima Ao Baptist Church. The accident occurred on January 31 while the church members were returning from a revival program in Mokokchung. In response, the Chief Minister announced an ex gratia payment of Rs 2 lakh for each deceased family and Rs 50,000 for those seriously injured, wishing for their swift recovery.
