The reshuffle included several other key appointments: R. N. Ravi became the Governor of West Bengal; Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar was transferred to Tamil Nadu; Vinai Kumar Saxena moved from Delhi to Ladakh; Taranjit Singh Sandhu was appointed the new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi; Shiv Pratap Shukla was named Governor of Telangana; Jishnu Dev Varma was appointed as Governor of Maharashtra; Syed Ata Hasnain became the Governor of Bihar; and Kavinder Gupta transitioned from the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh to Governor of Himachal Pradesh. These appointments will take effect once the appointees assume their respective offices.
