Award finalist Michael Evans expands Elara into global healing brand with Asian contributors

Author and investigator Michael Evans is transforming *Elara* from a literary project into a global healing and media brand aimed at women and girls, following his recognition as a finalist for the International Impact Book Awards for *The REAL Matrix Reloaded: A Map for Escaping the Prison You Can’t See*.

The award winner will be announced in Hollywood, California, in October, where Evans is expected to attend alongside contributors including Zhang Miaomiao from China, Dia from South Korea and VinikaliWotsa from Nagaland. The *Elara* initiative now encompasses two books, a rapidly growing children’s bedtime video, and a 90-minute cinematic production currently moving into development.

The children’s video has already attracted nearly 400,000 views within four days, highlighting strong audience engagement for content focused on self-worth, identity and healing. Based on true events, *Elara* follows the journey of a woman who escaped North Korea, survived exploitation and rediscovered her sense of self. Wotsa, a theology teacher from Nagaland, contributes a faith-based reflection rooted in Naga culture, exploring the pressures many girls face growing up with expectations of silence, obedience and responsibility.

In Kohima, the project reflects growing demand for value-driven content across publishing, digital media and wellness sectors. Educational institutions, churches, youth organisations and women-focused groups in Kohima are increasingly engaging with themes of mental well-being, identity and empowerment, creating opportunities for socially impactful storytelling and community outreach initiatives.

Evans, founder of Kingsman, an organisation involved in rescuing vulnerable and exploited women and girls, said *Elara* seeks to start conversations between mothers and daughters on identity, boundaries, faith and self-worth. The upcoming cinematic experience will feature artists, performers, investigators, survivors and cultural contributors from several countries, positioning *Elara* as a cross-border project with a growing global audience.
