The Census Director, Dr. Keneilhoutuolie Miachieo, visited Phek district and took inspection review on the ongoing House Listing Operation (HLO) under Census 2027.
The Census Director also held an interactive meeting with Census Officers and its functionaries in the district, and reviewed the status of the ongoing census operations being carried out in Phek. During the interaction, the Director emphasized the importance of accuracy and completeness, and reminded the field functionaries for adherence to the prescribed census guidelines during the enumeration process.
Subsequently, the Director visited Losami village and conducted interactive review meeting with enumerators and supervisors engaged in the census exercise, where the Director encouraged the field personnel to continue to carry out their responsibilities with diligence and professionalism to ensure the successful completion of the census operations.
The first phase of the Census, comprising House Listing Operations, is being conducted in the state from July 1 to 30, while the second phase is scheduled for February 2027.
