Keeway India has expanded its electric mobility portfolio with the launch of the all-new Hypevolt-R, marking the company’s entry into India’s premium performance electric scooter segment amid the country’s continued push towards cleaner and technology-driven transportation. It supports in-vehicle charging with 0-80 per cent charging in approximately three hours and offers Eco, Normal and Sport riding modes. The premium scooter is equipped with Dual-Channel ABS, Traction Control System, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Reverse Camera, projector LED headlamps, a Bluetooth-enabled 5-inch TFT display, reverse mode, USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, 27-litre under-seat storage, front telescopic suspension, five-step adjustable rear suspension, 14-inch alloy wheels with semi-slick tyres, 130 mm ground clearance and a 770 mm seat height. It is available in Crystal White and Platinum Grey.
Managing Director VikasJhabakh said the Hypevolt-R reflects the company’s commitment to delivering premium electric mobility solutions that combine performance, intelligent technology and everyday practicality. The launch also strengthens parent company Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI)’s premium mobility portfolio as it continues to expand its dealer network across the country. From an economic policy perspective, the introduction of premium electric vehicles such as the Hypevolt-R complements India’s broader objective of accelerating EV adoption, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and encouraging innovation-led manufacturing. The availability of technologically advanced products is expected to support the transition towards sustainable mobility while creating opportunities for investment, dealership expansion and employment across the automotive value chain. The gradual improvement in EV awareness, charging infrastructure and consumer confidence is creating a favourable environment for premium electric mobility. Rising fuel prices and increasing demand for technologically advanced two-wheelers are expected to encourage more buyers in Silchar to consider premium electric scooters, supporting the long-term growth of the region’s emerging EV ecosystem.
