MG Hector Tomahawk Spotted in Full, 530km Range and ADAS Among Expected Highlights

MG is gearing up to introduce the Hector Tomahawk in India on August 26, 2026. Ahead of its launch, the electric SUV has been spotted without any camouflage, revealing several key exterior design details. The upcoming model was earlier believed to be called the Hector Hawk, but MG’s recent trademark filing points towards the Hector Tomahawk name.

The EV is expected to share its underpinnings with the Wuling Eksion sold in Indonesia. The undisguised test vehicle features an upright silhouette and a modern, minimalist front-end design.

The front fascia features dual LED DRLs, LED headlamps and a closed grille. A black applique connects the lighting elements, while the MG logo sits prominently in the centre with two silver strips. The bumper gets vertical air curtains and a blacked-out rectangular intake positioned lower down.

The side profile includes dual-tone alloy wheels and ORVMs, a side step, thick black cladding, roof rails and conventional chrome pull-type door handles. Although the rear section has not been captured, the SUV is expected to get wraparound LED taillights and a dual-tone rear bumper.

MG has not fully shown the cabin yet, but an official teaser has revealed a beige interior theme. The cabin is expected to carry forward the clean and uncluttered styling of the exterior.

Feature highlights could include a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control and dedicated AC vents for the second and third rows.

Safety equipment is also expected to be extensive, with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake and a Level 2 ADAS suite likely to be offered.
