Ather is all set to unveil its upcoming family electric scooter, the Ather Konarc, on August 29, 2026, during Ather Community Day. The company has already released a teaser video highlighting the metallic parts of the scooter. Meanwhile, test prototypes of the Konarc have been spotted several times in India, offering a glimpse into its expected styling and specifications.
The Ather Konarc is likely to be based on the company’s EL platform, which was showcased last year. Spy shots indicate that the scooter could feature an LED headlamp mounted on the handlebar and a long, one-piece seat. The suspension setup is expected to include telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It may also come with a 14-inch front wheel and a 12-inch rear wheel.
In terms of technology, the Konarc is expected to feature a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and Ather Stack 7.0. The system could offer features including voice commands, pothole alerts, crash and tow notifications and onboard navigation.
The scooter is also expected to offer reverse assist, multiple riding modes and hill-hold control. However, the company is yet to officially confirm the complete list of features.
Ather has not revealed the powertrain details of the Konarc yet. However, leaked information reportedly suggests that the electric scooter could be available in six variants. It is also expected to offer a range of up to 200 kilometres on a single charge.
More details about the Konarc’s battery, motor, variants and pricing are expected to be announced at the official launch on August 29.
