Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday inaugurated the State Agriculture Information Hub-cum-Farmers’ Hostel at the Directorate of Agriculture in Naharlagun, marking a significant step towards strengthening agricultural services and farmer support in Arunachal Pradesh.
The programme was organised by the Department of Agriculture in association with the Departments of Horticulture and Fisheries and was attended by Agriculture and Allied Departments Minister Gabriel D. Wangsu, senior government officials, farmers and invited dignitaries.
During the programme, the Chief Minister unveiled the plaque and inspected the newly established facility.
The event also featured the launch of Arunachal Organic Coffee under MOVCD and APAMB, along with the release of the agriculture, apiculture and horticulture policies. Booklets on Matsya e-Vaahini and e-Rickshaw were also released.
The awards were presented to outstanding fish farmers, while the programme concluded with the flag-off of Matsya e-Vaahini and e-Rickshaw services, aimed at supporting farmers and strengthening allied agricultural activities across the state.
