The Seventh (Special) Session of the Eighth Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly got underway on Tuesday with three important legislative measures passed to advance ease of doing business, public safety and planned development in Arunachal Pradesh.
Taking to social media, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu informed that The Arunachal Pradesh Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Facilitation, Establishment and Operation) Ordinance, 2026 has been passed in the House, making it easier to establish and operate MSMEs, encouraging entrepreneurship, investment and employment.
The Arunachal Pradesh Fires and Emergency Services (Amendment) Bill, 2026 has also been passed to strengthen the framework for fire safety and emergency response across the State.
The third legislation, The Arunachal Pradesh Airport Area Development Authority Bill, 2026 has been passed to create a framework for planned and sustainable development around airport areas, supporting future urban growth.
