Groww accounted for 32 per cent of the National Stock Exchange’s active investor base in Nagaland as of June 2026, indicating a growing preference for digital investment platforms among investors in the state, according to data released by the company.
The data shows that around one in every three active investors in Nagaland invests through Groww. The trend comes amid rising smartphone adoption, expanding internet connectivity and increasing financial awareness across the Northeast, which have contributed to wider participation in capital markets.
Young investors constitute a significant share of Groww’s investor base in Nagaland. Around 27 per cent of its investors in the state are below 25 years, while 31 per cent are aged between 25 and 30 years. Women account for about 26 per cent of Groww’s investors in Nagaland.
Across the eight Northeast states, Groww investors represent nearly 24 per cent of the NSE’s investor base of 36.31 lakh. Sikkim leads with a 41 per cent share, followed by Arunachal Pradesh at 40 per cent and Tripura at 37 per cent.
In Kohima, the figures indicate growing engagement with digital investing, particularly among younger consumers, as easier online access brings stocks and other market-linked products within reach of a wider section of the population.
Groww offers mutual funds, stocks, IPOs, trading, commodities, MTF, bonds and wealth management solutions, alongside advanced tools such as option chains, charts and terminal-based trading.
