Justdial and AIDCL will empower Micro Food Processing Enterprises

Justdial and Assam Industrial Development Corporation Limited (AIDCL) have partnered to digitize enterprises covered by the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) plan, which AIDCL is now implementing. The three-year agreement aims to increase the digital presence and competitiveness of these firms in the unorganized food processing industry. Justdial will digitize the operations of micro-food processing firms registered under the PMFME scheme, while AIDCL will partner with them and exchange vital information through its network of registered firms.

The PMFME scheme, launched by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) in collaboration with state/UT governments as part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, aims to formalize and improve the competitiveness of existing micro-enterprises in the unorganized food processing industry. The partnership demonstrates Justdial’s dedication to using technology to make a positive difference and aims to leave a lasting influence on microenterprise development.

Justdial’s Chief Growth Officer, Shwetank Dixit, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with Assam Industrial Development Corporation Limited, stating that the company is ready to revolutionize micro-food processing firms by leveraging Justdial’s advanced digital capabilities and aiming to significantly impact microenterprise development.
