Byatikram Education Conclave 4.0 kicks off in Guwahati, boost Northeast India’s education sector

The fourth edition of the Byatikram Education Conclave commenced today at the NEDFi Convention Centre, Guwahati, signaling a significant push for growth and collaboration in Northeast India’s education market. Organized by Byatikram in association with The Times of India, JIS Group of Institutions, and NERIM Group of Institutions, the two-day event gathers 32 key players, including educationists, technocrats, and government officials, to address six pivotal themes shaping the regional education ecosystem.

The conclave was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Sangeeta Tripathi, Director of NERIM Group of Institutions. Notable attendees include Prof. Dr. Mridul Hazarika, Former Vice-Chancellor of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Vishwavidyalaya; P.S. Reddy, Director of Sai Vikasht; Prof. Dr. Dilip Nath, Former Vice-Chancellor of Assam University; Babul Ali, Executive President of NEPNI Group of Institutions; and Bidyut Majumder, Deputy Director of JIS Group.

Prof. Dr. Jiban Nath received the Byatikram Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his lifelong impact on education. Thirty principals were also honored for their contributions.Dr. Saumen Bharatiya, President of Byatikram, emphasized the conclave’s role in driving educational innovation and regional outreach. Bidyut Majumder noted its importance in fostering academic ties and breaking barriers for Northeast India’s education market. The event is open to all interested stakeholders.
