STIHL India concludes nationwide ‘Parivartan Yatra’ with grand finale in Itanagar

STIHL India on Tuesday concluded its West-to-East “Parivartan Yatra” with a grand closing ceremony in Itanagar, marking the end of a nationwide outreach programme focused on promoting farm mechanisation and modern agricultural practices. The journey, which began in Dwarka, Gujarat, covered over 15,000 kilometres across nine states and connected with more than 10,000 farmers. Through direct interaction, live product demonstrations and on-ground discussions, the initiative aimed to raise awareness about modern farming tools that reduce manual labour and improve productivity.

Senior officials of STIHL India, including Marketing Director Shobhit Bahel, Trade Marketing Manager Pradumn Chaturvedi, Regional Manager (East) Debasis Sanyal and State Head Pragyan Sinha, attended the closing event in Itanagar. They highlighted the importance of expanding mechanisation in eastern and northeastern states.

For the Itanagar , the programme holds special significance as farming in hilly terrain often involves high manual effort. Company officials said such initiatives help farmers understand how mechanised solutions can suit local conditions. STIHL India stated that the yatra was not just a roadshow but a long-term effort to support farmers with reliable equipment and practical knowledge. The successful conclusion in Itanagar reflects the growing focus on agricultural development in the Northeast.
