Nagaland is enhancing economic opportunities through international partnerships, notably by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jobs-in-Germany GmbH to place skilled youth in Germany. This initiative aligns training at the Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre with international standards, featuring German language and cultural training. The first cohort of 22 candidates will start training in January 2026. Concurrently, Nagaland’s kiwi sector is strengthening through cooperation with New Zealand, focusing on modern farming techniques and addressing post-harvest challenges. The state aims to brand its kiwi for better market access while promoting sustainable farming practices.
