The Blenders Pride Fashion Tour wrapped its 2025 edition with a bold finale on the Hooghly River, transforming a massive barge into a floating runway against the Howrah Bridge.
Collaborating with the FDCI, designer Anamika Khanna (AK|OK) debuted a collection that dismantled traditional crafts like zardozi and chikankari, reassembling them into futuristic, metallic silhouettes. The high-concept show featured responsive lasers, a high-energy score, and a dramatic entrance by showstopper Ishaan Khatter, who arrived at the barge via speedboat.
“Future Is Crafted was a powerful statement on how heritage and innovation converge,” said Debasree Dasgupta, CMO of Pernod Ricard India. By blending historic maritime settings with experimental design, the event successfully signaled a new era for Indian fashion.
