The 79th General Conference of the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) began at Zuketsa Local Ground on February 3, with Deputy Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang as the chief guest. Hosted by the Zuketsa Students’ Union and themed “Nurturing identity through knowledge and culture,” the event includes a dedicatory prayer, unveiling of a monolith, and notable addresses emphasizing cultural identity, education, and unity. The conference features various sessions, including a presidential address and cultural presentations, and will conclude with a valedictory programme on February 5.
