Tata launches new Tiago facelift at Rs. 4.69 lakh

Tata Motors has officially launched the updated Tiago facelift in India at a starting price of ₹4.69 lakh (ex-showroom), introducing fresh styling updates, upgraded features, and improved technology to strengthen its position in the highly competitive hatchback segment. The new Tiago receives a revised front grille, redesigned bumpers, sharper headlamps, and updated alloy wheel designs, giving the car a more modern and sporty appearance. The hatchback also gets refreshed interior elements, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, updated digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and enhanced connectivity features.

The facelifted Tiago continues to be powered by Tata’s trusted 1.2-litre petrol engine, available with both manual and automatic transmission options. The company is also expected to continue offering a CNG variant for customers seeking better fuel efficiency. Tata Motors claims the hatchback maintains its strong safety credentials, with features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability support available across variants.

The updated Tiago will compete with popular entry-level hatchbacks including the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, and Citroen C3. Industry analysts believe Tata’s aggressive pricing strategy and feature-rich package could attract first-time buyers and urban customers looking for an affordable yet premium hatchback experience.

Bookings for the new Tiago facelift have already begun across Tata dealerships nationwide, with deliveries expected to commence soon. The launch further strengthens Tata Motors’ growing portfolio in the compact passenger vehicle market as the company continues to focus on design, safety, and technology-driven offerings.
